Annual international workshop for the industrial research school ITS-EASY

ITS-EASY, the industrial post graduate school for Embedded Software and Systems, annually organizes an international workshop in collaboration with other post graduate schools. This year, the workshop takes place in Vienna , Austria, where graduate students from ITS-EASY and RetNet meet with students from the Technical University of Vienna and the Johannes Kepler University in Linz. For four days, March 24 to 27, the PhD students work with preparations for impending Lic presentations, PhD defenses and theses . The PhD students also have the opportunity to present their research and receive feedback from both each other and from senior researchers. In total, 45 people participate in the workshop, and in addition to the three universities there are nine companies represented.

The workshop is organized by Ivica Crnkovic and Malin Rosqvist in cooperation with the Technical University of Vienna and the Johannes Kepler University in Linz.

The post graduate school ITS-EASY is funded by KKS, the Knowledge Foundation, has 22 PhD students, and will continue until 2020 with a total budget of 115 million SEK.
