Response-Time Analysis for Dynamically and Statically Scheduled Systems

This paper describes how to perform response-time analysis on a set of tasks scheduled by a fixed priority scheduler that runs ``in the background of a static cyclic schedule. The system model contains interrupts, a static cyclic schedule and a set of dynamically scheduled tasks. The tasks are scheduled in the time slots available when between interrupts or statically scheduled execution.
