Bahar Houtan, Doctoral student (not working at IDT anymore)

I am part of the  DESTINE and DPAC projects at the Mälardalen Unviersity, which are a collaboration between academia with companies such as Volvo CE, HIAB and Arcticus systems, etc. In my PhD research, I aim at providing solutions to address the complexities of developing predictable real-time distributed vehicular embedded systems. I specialize in automated design and configuration of distributed real-time embedded systems utilizing IEEE Time-Sensitive Networking (TSN) standards.

Teaching assistance experiences:

- DVA-480Industrial Internet of Things (Introduktion till Infrastrukturer för IoT)
- DVA-218Data Communications (Datakommunikation)
- DVA-245Data Structures with python (Datastrukturer, algoritmer och programkonstruktion med Python)

Thesis supervision:

- ”Automatic Generation of Network Configuration in Simulated Time Sensitive Networking (TSN) Application”, vt2020. (Gitlab)

- ”Effect of Time-sensitive Networking (TSN) Configurations on Network Performance in Real-time Communication”,vt2022
