Muhammad Waseem Anwar, Post Doc


Muhammad Waseem Anwar is a Post-Doctoral Researcher in Embedded Systems at Mälardalen University, department of Innovation, Design and Engineering in Västerås - Sweden. He completed his PhD degree in Software Engineering from National University of Sciences & Technology (NUST), Pakistan in 2021. He successfully completed several research projects such as Development of Opensource HMI and MOdel-based DEsign Verification for Embedded Systems (MODEVES). He published 120+ research articles in well-known peer-reviewed  conferences / book chapters (93) and impact factor journals (22). He is currently working on ITEA3 BUMBLE project.

His major research area is Model Based System Engineering (MBSE) for Complex and Large Systems. This includes: model based design & verification of embedded systems, model based development of control systems (e.g. data acquisition, HMI, alarms, historian etc.) and, combination of machine learning & MBSE for the development of complex systems. His research gate profile can be viewed here
