Abstract

The Special Section on “Embedded and Networked Systems for Intelligent Vehicles and Robots” of the IEEE Transactions on Industrial Informatics (TII) tackles the research challenges for the successful adoption of intelligent vehicles and robots in many areas, including autonomous vehicles and Industry 4.0. The Special Section attracted over 40 original submissions. After a rigorous review process, 9 high-quality contributions were selected that cover a broad spectrum of topics.
