Fredrik Bruhn is adjunct professor in Robotics and Avionics at Mälardalen University since 2013. He received an MSc (Atomic and Molecular Physics), and a Doctor of Philosophy degree (Microsystems technology, MEMS) from Uppsala University (UU), Sweden, in 2000, and 2005. Prof. Bruhn’s previous appointments include being guest researcher at Caltech/NASA Jet Propulsion Laboratory. He is currently CEO of Bruhnspace AB.
Fredrik Bruhns research interests and contributions include radiation and fault tolerant avionics, bare metal real-time Ada Ravenscar profile micro kernels, development of Virtual Network Protocol for automated integration and distributed collaborative systems, and autonomous systems engineering. Prof. Bruhn is Techical Area Editor of Journal of Small Satellites.
