Xu Wang, Industrial Doctoral Student


Wang is an industrial Ph.D. student at the School of Innovation, Design, and Engineering (IDT) at Mälardalen University (MDH) from August 2017. His research topic will be EMC problem solving with a focus on sensor and sensor applications.

Meanwhile, he works as a consultant at NEP Västerås AB since 2013. His main consultancy is electrics design covering areas from industrial, automotive to medical.  Before this, he worked as a development engineer at SenseAir AB from 2009 to 2013,  whose main business is providing air and gas sensing technology and sensors.

Wang received his master degree in electrics from Mid Sweden University (MIUN) in 2010, with thesis work ”High-performance CO2 measurement based on pressure modulation” published on Eurosensors XXIV, 2010; In 2009, he got his bachelor degree in automation from Beijing Jiaotong University (BJTU); Wang studied as an exchange student in the department of electronics design in MIUN between 2008 and 2009.
