Horizon 2020 - the new European framwork programme for research and innovation
– possibilities for automation and embedded systems
Horizon 2020 is the biggest EU Research and Innovation programme ever with nearly €80 billion of funding available over 7 years (2014 to 2020) – in addition to the private investment that this money will attract. It promises more breakthroughs, discoveries and world-firsts by taking great ideas from the lab to the market. Horizon 2020 is the financial instrument implementing the Innovation Union, a Europe 2020 flagship initiative aimed at securing Europe's global competitiveness
The presentationen will be held by RECO (Division for Research Coordination), at Mälardalen Univeristy, and will focus on funding possibilities for automation and embedded systems.

RECO, the Division of Research Coordination, is the programme and project office of IDT, the School of Innovation, Design and Engineering. RECO provides advanced support to identify fitting calls for research funding, to networking activities and creating consortia, and to marketing and communication activities for the research at IDT. RECO also supports writing of proposals and applications, as well as review of applications. In large and complex projects RECO supports project management.
