Sara Abbaspour has completed her Master’s Degree in Biomedical Engineering at Amirkabir University of Technology (formerly known as Tehran Polytechnic), Iran in 2011. After graduating, she decided to participate in diagnosis of children heart disease project in an Iranian leading research institute. She has also been a member of a group that works on programming algorithms using Java. Now she is a Ph.D. student at Mälardalen University.
My research experience is in Biomedical Signal Processing (EMG, ECG and PCG signals) in the area of noise reduction using neural network, adaptive filter, independent component analysis, adaptive neuro-fuzzy inference system, subtraction method and wavelet transform. This also includes filter designing, biological system modeling and pattern recognition (feature extraction, classification and clustering).
