Taufik Akbar Sitompul, Industrial Doctoral Student

Taufik is an industrial PhD student who is employed at CrossControl AB. His research topic is about developing novel interaction designs in heavy-duty vehicles using immersive visualisation technology, which could enhance operators' experience, productivity, and safety. Taufik started his PhD studies in May 2018.

Taufik received his B.Sc in Multimedia Studies from the National University of Malaysia and M.Sc in Service Design and Engineering from both Aalto University, Finland and University of Trento, Italy. In his free time, Taufik is also involved in managing a non-profit project that aims to nurture interest in science and technology among Indonesians.
