Elaine Åstrand is a researcher in the biomedical engineering group. 2014 she received her PhD in Neuroscience from Université de Claude Bernard in Lyon in France. 2010 she obtained her Master's degree in biotechnology engineering from Uppsala University.
Her research focuses on the access and extraction of cognitive information, specifically attention and working memory, from brain activity and the development of rehabilitation techniques for enhancing our cognitive ability.
