Notes for presenters:
Students will have 10 minutes to present their work, which will be followed by 10 minutes of feedback and discussion from the panelists. Please try to meet the time limit, as it will enable you to get any feedback from the panel members. The limit per speaker will be strictly enforced by the moderators. The sessions will be open, although your advisors will be asked to excuse themselves during your presentation. Keeping your talk relatively short will enable more time for direct interaction with the panel members.

Tanja Vos: Hints for giving a presentationIn this talk we will see some do’s and don’t’s of giving a presentation. We will talk about how to build up your presentation, and how to prevent your audience from falling a sleep. Tips on how to make sure everyone can read your slides, and how your slides are a tool for giving a better talk, not the talk itself. We will go into pictures, animations, colors, pointing, humor and many more things. We will also give some tips on how to deal with your nerves.
Jeff Offutt: How to Get Your Paper RejectedMy papers have been rejected hundreds of times. In fact, being rejected is one of my best skills! I am confident that I lead the field of software testing in the number of rejections. In this talk, I hope to pass on my knowledge and skills to a younger generation, so that you, too, can aspire to accumulate large piles of rejection messages.
