Adnan is a Ph.D. student at Mälardalen University's School of Innovation, Design, and Engineering. He received his B.Sc. degree in telecommunication engineering from Urmia University in 2010 and an M.Sc. degree in Electronic Engineering from Tabriz University in 2014.
Adnan is currently working on designing a Superpixel Segmentation system on FPGA. A Superpixel segment is a group of pixels that carry the same information in terms of colors or intensity. Using these segments instead of pixels as part of a pre-processing process will reduce processing time and resource consumption.
